Ambassador Programme Launched!

During the Easter 2024 holidays, Select Soccer officially launched a new programme. This programme is our Select Soccer Ambassador Programme. The programme has been set up to involve some of our Senior Academy Players with organising events/schemes/fundraisers etc to help make a difference in our local community.

Select Soccer is a community focused programme, where we see numerous players and families come to us from all over Torbay, the South Hams, and other further reaching districts, who all have their own life experiences and stories. We felt it is important to get our senior players to appreciate the opportunities given to them by their families to be able to do something they love, with support and encouragement whilst understanding others may not be so fortunate.

Our Ambassador Programme was launched by organising an Easter treats collection for the children on the Louisa Carey Ward at Torbay Hospital. These treats were delivered on Good Friday by a couple of our Ambassadors, all in honour of one of Select Soccers Tots players, who has been diagnosed with a long term illness and is currently undergoing treatment.

We would like to thank the staff at Louisa Carey Ward for allowing us to be able to donate the collected treats to their patients and families. A big thank you to all of our families who donated towards the collection; and a huge thank you to Hugo's parents for allowing us to do this in his honour.
