In 2024, Select Soccer signed up to the Children's University to become one of their recognised Activity Providers. The Children's University is a charity which promotes extra-curricular activities for young people in and outside of school. Young people are able to sign up for the programme eithr online via the Children's University website (link below) or through their school.

As an Activity Provider, we have a unique number, which we will stamp in your young person's Children's University Passport to help keep track of the extra-curricular activities they do. Once your young person has achieved X amount of hours, they are eligible to achieve certificates to celebrate their achievements.

Select believes in Making A Difference to the individuals we interact with, using sport as our main medium. Through supporting individuals in extra-curricular activities, we can help build young people's life skills through the medium of sport, ultimately helping to develop the individual and get them ready to face life in whatever they choose. We believe the Children's University celebrates and encourages this too, giving young people the best opportunities to grow, develop and learn.
